The challenge

What slows construction materials down.

01Several units for one item

The same product is bought by the tonne, sold by the bag and delivered by the pallet. Conversions must be exact.

02Site deliveries

Orders go to building sites with their own address, contact and delivery window, often with partial drops.

03Contractor credit

Contractors buy on account and pay late. Credit exposure by customer and by project needs to be visible.

04Project pricing

Large projects get agreed prices that differ from the list. Staff need to apply them correctly every time.

01

Units of measure

Buy, store and sell in different units, with conversions defined on the product.

  • Purchase, stock and sales units
  • Conversions on the product record
  • Quantities shown in the right unit

Delivery trips

Plan vehicles and drops by day, with the site address and contact on every stop.

  • Trips with multiple stops
  • Partial deliveries against one order
  • Delivery status on the order

03

Credit and receivables

Track what each contractor owes, by invoice and by age.

  • Receivables by customer
  • Ageing of overdue balances
  • Payment status at a glance

  • Quotes per project
  • Customer-specific prices
  • Accepted quote becomes the order

How it runs

One flow, start to finish.

  1. 01Quote the project

A quote with agreed prices is prepared for the contractor and the site.

  2. 02Call-off order

Each call-off creates a sales order against the project, in the right unit.

  3. 03Load and deliver

The yard loads the vehicle and the trip records every drop and its status.

  4. 04Invoice

Invoices are issued per delivery or per period, as agreed with the customer.

  5. 05Collect

Receivables show overdue balances so collection follows up in time.
