Privacy notice
This notice explains how Dika Design handles personal information when you visit ops.dika.design, join the waitlist or contact us. It covers your rights under UK data protection law and under US state privacy laws. It does not cover the Dika Ops product itself, which has its own terms and data processing agreement.
Who we are
Dika Design is a company registered in the United Kingdom and is the controller of the personal information described here. Contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Information you give us: when you join the waitlist or contact us, your name, work email, company, team size, industry, the systems you use today, your message, and the language of the page you used.
- Technical information: your approximate country, browser type and the pages you request, which our hosting provider records to run and protect the site.
- Analytics, with your consent: how you use the site, such as pages viewed and time on page, through Google Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
- Media, with your consent: if you play our film, YouTube receives information about your device and viewing.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and the site is not meant for children under 16.
How we use it and our legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Replying to your message and managing the waitlist | Steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering requests |
| Inviting you to the beta and sending updates about Dika Ops | Your consent, given in the form; you can withdraw it at any time |
| Keeping the site secure and preventing abuse | Our legitimate interest in protecting the site |
| Understanding how the site is used (analytics) | Your consent |
| Playing the film through YouTube | Your consent |
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We use service providers who process it for us under contract:
- Cloudflare: hosting, security, form storage and cookieless analytics.
- Google: Google Analytics, only if you allow analytics, and YouTube, only if you play the film.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
International transfers
Our providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement and Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist and contact details: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Security logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period.
- Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.
Your rights in the UK
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to [email protected]; we reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Your rights in the United States
Depending on the state you live in, such as California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut or Texas, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale, sharing for targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not sell or share personal information, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request. To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will verify your request, you may use an authorised agent, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and, only with your consent, analytics and media cookies. See the cookie policy for the full list and to change your choice.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form data is stored with access limited to our team, and we only keep what we need.

We will update this notice when our practices change and show the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
